Well, Thomas Nelson did it. They managed to get a for real book out of me. Here is the photographic proof.
My 15-year-old daughter graciously assisted me in keeping everything in order as I printed the manuscript. Afterward, I held it over my head and ran throughout the house shouting “I did it! I did it!”
It was very distinguished, and author-like I assure you.
The next day, I brought it into The Coffee House (where I have written much of it) to begin edits. The sweet ladies who work there were so happy for me that they took turns holding it and then gave me my cup of Joe on the house.
Life is good…
Thomas Nelson is currently re-titling my book. I will let you know the new title when I hear from them! The release date is sometime in April 2014.
